Why Did My Payment Fail?

A payment may fail for several reasons. During the payment process, the bank and payment processor perform multiple checks to ensure the transaction is secure. If any of these checks are not passed, the payment may be declined.

What should I do if my payment fails?

First, make sure that:
- The card number is entered correctly;
- The card's expiration date is correct;
- The CVV/CVC code is entered correctly;
- There are sufficient funds available on the card.

Even a small mistake in any of these details may cause the payment to be declined.

Why can my payment be declined if I have enough money on my card?

Insufficient funds are not the only reason a payment may be declined. The bank may block the transaction for security reasons, internal restrictions, or additional verification checks.

Money was charged from my card, but the order was not completed. What happened?

In some cases, the bank may temporarily charge the card to verify the transaction and then automatically return the funds if the payment is declined by the security system.

On your bank statement, this may appear as two separate transactions:
- A charge;
- A subsequent refund.

When will I receive my refund after a failed payment?

Refund processing times depend on the bank and payment provider. In most cases, the refund is issued automatically, but you should contact your bank for the exact timeframe.

What should I do if all card details are correct, but the payment still fails?

If you are sure that all card details have been entered correctly:
- Try using a different card;
- Contact your bank to find out why the payment was declined;
- Make sure your bank is not blocking online or international transactions.
