About Levon Oganezov
Levon Sarkisovich (Leonty Sergeevich) Oganezov (also performed under the name Leon Oganezov, born January 1941, Moscow) is a Soviet and Russian pianist, composer, actor and TV presenter. People's Artist of Russia (2010). Studied at the Central Music School. Graduated from the Music College named after. Ippolitov-Ivanov, then in 1967 the Moscow Conservatory in piano. Repeatedly won piano competitions. Since 1959 he has been working at Mosconcert. He was a co-host of the television programs “White Parrot Club”, “Vanity Around the Piano”, “Good Evening with Igor Ugolnikov” (1997) and “Life is Beautiful”. Starred in several films. As an accompanist, he worked with many famous artists (Klavdiya Shulzhenko, Oleg Anofriev, Valentina Tolkunova, Joseph Kobzon, Andrei Mironov, Vladimir Vinokur, Larisa Golubkina, Yan Osin, Maxim Galkin and others). He was an equal participant in V. Vinokur’s play “I Go Out Alone...” (author A. Arkanov, director A. Shirvindt); as an actor he participated in the performance of the Moscow Theater of Satire “Farewell, entertainer!”
