About Theatrical play The Master and Margarita in Miami
The Master and Margarita" is back!
After the resounding success in 2023, the legendary production of "The Master and Margarita," based on Mikhail Bulgakov's immortal novel, is once again heading on tour across America and Canada.
In October, audiences will be treated to the famous production by director Valery Belyakovich, featuring the inimitable Ivars Kalniņš in the role of the great Procurator.
Bulgakov worked on the novel for 12 years. Like Gogol, he tried to burn his manuscript. In the margins he wrote: "Finish it before dying!
And today this work continues to move, captivate, and reveal itself anew to every audience member.
A piercing love story, the biblical theme of the struggle between good and evil, a dazzling satire on the everyday life and morals of ordinary people "who were corrupted by the housing question," a novel about Pontius Pilate within a novel — these are just a part of Bulgakov's magnificent world.
But at the heart of the show is the story of the Master and Margarita: a story of great love, capable of overcoming any obstacles.
Unusual. Original. Brilliant.
A true mystical spectacle unfolds on stage: carefully crafted mise-en-scènes, expressive music, beautiful costumes, subtle lighting work, and powerful acting bring the famous novel to life before the audience.
A production that has been drawing full houses of Bulgakov fans for over 15 years, turned out to be intriguing, captivating, and almost magical.
