About Theatrical play The Border in Los Angeles
Russian anti-war self-confession.
“The Border” is a dramatic poem crafted through the autofictional method.
As Russia launches a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the protagonist, a young man from Moscow, vehemently opposes the war. In a bid to evade repression, he plans to flee the country.
However, his plans are ruined when he learns that his mother, who lives in a war zone on the border of two countries, is suffering a heart attack. Despite his resolve to support her, he finds himself entangled in a family conflict, their stances on the war polar opposites. Amidst the chaos of bombings, the characters are forced to find ways of reconciliation and forgiveness in conditions of war and dictatorship.
Returning to Moscow, the hero realizes that the Russia he once knew no longer exists. He will have to find a way to live in new conditions, resisting the regime, but keeping love for his homeland in his heart.

Впервые на Hollywood Fringe Festival 2024 состоится премьера драматической поэмы "Граница" Сергея Давыдова; автора романов “Спрингфилд” “Республика” “Коля против всех”.
Произведение представлено на английском и поставлено американским режиссером Рэем Ханна.
Сюжет разворачивается во время полномасштабного российского вторжения в Украину. Главный герой, молодой человек из Москвы, выступает против войны. Чтобы избежать репрессий, ему приходится покинуть страну. Однако его планы рушатся, когда он узнает, что его мать, живущая в зоне военных действий на границе двух стран, переживает сердечный приступ.
Персонажи вынуждены найти способы примирения и прощения в условиях войны и диктатуры."Граница” - это голос свободы, захватывающий зрителей своей актуальностью и глубиной темы.
Продюсер Елена Кузнецова и актер Миша Суворов при поддержке некоммерческой организации RimoVision Group надеются привлечь внимание общественности к проблемам свободы слова и демократии не только в России, но и во всем мире.
Все участники, включая автора покинули свои страны из-за диктатуры, отсутствия прав и свобод человека.
