About Vasya Oblomov Concert in Atlanta
Vasya Oblomov is a popular musician, poet, composer, and music producer, one of the participants in the cult satirical project "Citizen Poet." Over 15 years of existence, Oblomov has received numerous awards, performed on all major Russian and international TV channels, at the largest festivals, wrote music and songs for the most popular Russian films, released 6 full-length albums, each of which topped the listening charts on digital platforms, wrote many satirical songs about current events, and his music videos have garnered tens of millions of views. Oblomov is one of the few Russian musicians who, starting in 2012, performed at major protest rallies in Moscow and openly criticized the Russian authorities, which ultimately earned him their long-standing disfavor. In 2022, all of Vasily Oblomov's concerts on Russian territory, like those of all artists who openly opposed military actions, were banned. In 2025, Russian authorities declared Oblomov a foreign agent.
In the fall of 2025, the artist released a new album "How It Really Was". In Atlanta, Vasya Oblomov will perform for the first time with his new album and greatest hits.
