Ekaterina Mikhailovna Shulman (born August 19, 1978, Tula) is a Russian political scientist and publicist, a specialist in lawmaking issues. PhD in Political Science (2013). Associate Professor of the Department of Political and Legal Teachings at the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences, Lecturer in the Department of Public Administration and Public Policy at the Institute of Social Sciences of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. Member of the Russian Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights (December 2018 - October 2019). Associate member of the Russia and Eurasia program at Chatham House. Visiting Fellow at the Carnegie Berlin Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies. She has been published in Vedomosti, Grani.ru, Republic, and the Carnegie Moscow Center. Since 2016, he has been hosting the author’s program “Status”, which was broadcast on the radio station “Echo of Moscow” until 2022, and after the station was closed - simultaneously on several YouTube channels (his own, “Living Nail” and “BILD in Russian”). Has an audience of over 1.1 million subscribers on YouTube. Since January 2023, he has been a professor at KAZGUU named after M. Narikbaev in Astana (Kazakhstan).
