Yaroslav Mykolaiovych Karpuk (born 4 May 2005), known professionally as Yaktak (stylized in all caps), is a Ukrainian singer and songwriter of pop and hip-hop. In 2019, Karpuk took part in the 5th season of the Ukrainian television show "Holos.Dity" (team Dzidzio), got to the super final and took 2nd place. In 2020, he won first and second places at the World Championships of Performing Arts (Los Angeles). Since 2021, he has been writing his own songs and music for them. The same year he won the Grand Prix at the Chornomorski ihry festival. At just 18 years old, Yaktak has already made a significant impact in the Ukrainian music scene. His journey from a music enthusiast in a small village to a rising star in pop and hip-hop exemplifies his dedication, talent, and the strong influence of his musical upbringing. As he continues to grow and evolve as an artist, Yaktak is poised to become a leading figure in the Ukrainian music industry, bringing his unique blend of genres to a wider international audience.
