Rockefeller, Jr. managed to build an entire complex of buildings on the property that would attract top commercial clients and help salvage the depressed economy of the area. Part of the Rockafeller Center, Radio City Music Hall opened in 1932 and remains to this day an enduring icon that stands testament to the American Dream in the face of adversity. The Radio Corporation of America was one of those original tenants, leading to the name Radio City staying until this day, and is a worldwide attraction, staging huge music concerts, and of course acting as the home of the illustrious Rockettes.
