“MarLeni” is a Russian-language theatrical production imagining a fictional meeting between two legendary women of the 20th century — Marlene Dietrich and Leni Riefenstahl. The story takes place in Dietrich’s Paris apartment, where the Hollywood icon has hidden herself from the public for nearly twenty years. One day, filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl arrives with a daring proposal: to create one final film starring the legendary Marlene.
