SOYUZ is a creative collective from Minsk, Belarus, that blends various musical styles, including psychedelic jazz, funk, and Brazilian music, with Russian and Portuguese lyrics. Originally founded by Alex Chumak and Mikita Arlou, the band is now a Belarusian-Polish group, which relocated to Warsaw in 2022 and added Polish musicians Albert Karch and Igor Wiśniewski to their lineup. The name "SOYUZ" translates to "union," reflecting the collaborative nature of the project.
