Sergey Auslender, Russian and Israeli journalist. He was born in 1972 in Khabarovsk. In 2009 he was diagnosed with cancer - Ewing's sarcoma of the ankle joint. A year and a half later, after a difficult course of treatment and complex surgery, he relapsed and had to have his leg amputated.
