Join us for a night of pure, ridiculous joy: a communal screening of A Very Potter Musical, the cult-classic fan production that turned Hogwarts into a stage for slapstick, power ballads, and unforgettable one-liners.
Created by StarKid Productions, A Very Potter Musical was staged by a group of college students (including a then-unknown Darren Criss) who took the Harry Potter universe and ran wild with it — low-budget sets, big musical numbers, and a cast of young, wildly funny actors clearly having the time of their lives. What started as a scrappy theater project became an internet phenomenon, beloved for its heart, its absurdity, and its genuine love for the source material.
Before the screening, join Ksenia Mironova (journalist, filmmaker, and long-time fandom enthusiast) for a short introduction setting the stage for what you’re about to watch.
Come for the nostalgia, stay for the wizard rock — and don’t be surprised if you leave humming “Granger Danger.”
