SBP4 (Samoe Bolshoe Prostoe Chislo, meaning The Largest Prime Number) is a Russian indie group formed in 2006 by Kirill Ivanov and the duo EU. They've been active since the mid 2000s and have explored multiple styles and genres during their time on the scene. SBP4 create electronic music with groove and energy that combines the incompatible – a colorful collage of African rhythms, hip hop breaks, funk guitar, disco bass, lyrical female vocals and psychedelic breaks. The group's creative output has been closely linked to Ukraine since 2009. The members of the group actively express their opposition to the current war and no longer perform in the Russian Federation. The group publishes its thoughts on social media and in interviews. Part of the proceeds from concerts are systematically donated to funds to help Ukrainians affected by the war.
