About Nogu Svelo!
Nogu Svelo!, the legendary Russian-American punk rock band now based in the US. Nogu Svelo! has been performing in Russia, Europe, and the United States for 35 years. The singer, and bass guitarist and the author of all songs Max Pokrovskiy has been an outspoken critic of Putin’s oppression though his songs and interviews since before the war in Ukraine, and has been banned from performing in Russia because of his support for Alexei Navalny. He has released ten anti-war songs since the start of the war.
