About Maxim Sukhanov
Maxim Sukhanov (born November 10, 1963) is a Soviet and Russian theater, film and dubbing actor, producer, theater composer. He is a two-time winner of the State Prize of Russia. Since (1985-2022) actor at the Vakhtangov Theater. Collaborates with the Lenkom Theater, Stanislavsky Theater and Mayakovsky Theater. Among the most famous roles: Amphitryon, Cyrano de Bergerac and King Lear (Vakhtangov Theater), Petruccio from The Taming of the Shrew and Khlestakov from The Inspector (MDT). Winner of the State Prize and the Golden Seagull Award for the role of Khlestakov. Best known film works: “The Land of the Deaf” and “It is not recommended to offend women”. Played Stalin in the television series “Children of Arbat”.
