Kavabanga Depo Kolibri is a Ukrainian rap band founded on May 19, 2012 in Kharkiv. KDK (Kavabanga & Depo & Kolibri) - it all started when Dima Leliuk, having learned about his old friend's creative endeavors, decided to borrow a recording program through a third party. To which Alexander Plisakin responded with a desire to meet in person. That's how the idea of working together was born. Roman Manko joined in a slightly different way. He corresponded with Sasha on social media for a long time and enthusiastically on topics that were completely unrelated to music. It didn't take long for the guys to get to know and understand each other well, and they immediately hit it off. This is how the main aspects of any successful activity - mutual respect and trust - were born. The very first attempts to record joint songs revealed a huge potential for the improvised trio. According to them, the tandem of Kavabanga, Depo and Kolibri is not rap at all, but hip-hop. However, in a way, the guys identify themselves with pop, which does not bother any of the three and is not perceived as an insult. The group was organized on the basis of mutual approval of the previously developed material. Communication and the beginning of cooperation, as is now fashionable, was facilitated by the World Wide Web. Although the guys had known each other before, they were unaware of the similarity of their talents and interests.
