Why is my balance negative?

A negative balance occurs when the total amount of refunds, payment disputes (chargebacks), or other event-related expenses exceeds the available funds in your balance.
While your balance remains negative, the ability to issue new refunds and withdraw funds will be temporarily unavailable. To restore these functions, the negative balance must first be resolved.
To restore a positive balance, EventCartel may automatically withdraw the required amount from the bank account linked to your account within two business days or deduct it from future ticket sales proceeds.
