Back in Manhattan!
ESSENCE Theatre presents its production of Jean Anouilh’s THE ORCHESTRA —
with the support of our friends at Theater 86,
on their stage at:
315 West 39th St., New York, NY 10018
December 12 at 7:30 PM
and December 13 at 3:00 PM
A satirical comedy with dramatic elements and a distinctly absurdist edge.
On stage is the ESSENCE Theatre Adult Acting Studio, the same ensemble whose recent production of Molière’s The Doctor in Spite of Himself was met with tremendous enthusiasm from audiences.
This time, it is an entirely different genre, a different atmosphere, a different world — but with the same vibrant stage energy and the same ability to engage and captivate the audience.
The cast features the actresses of the Studio and one man — a renowned theatre and film actor.
PERFORMED IN RUSSIAN WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES.
THIS PROGRAM IS SUPPORTED, IN PART, BY PUBLIC FUNDS FROM THE NEW YORK CITY DEPARTMENT OF CULTURAL AFFAIRS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CITY COUNCIL.
