About the show: Mine had a staged reading at Teatr.Doc, and in Spring 2023 it was produced in English at Cornell University. Presented here is a recording of the Cornell production, followed by a Q&amp;A. Synopsis: Ally’s life is limited to four gray walls. Diane is her window to a brighter future, and Ally thinks she knows her, but she doesn't. Set in Russia and here, in the past and now, Mine blends realism and abstraction and asks whether we really know anything and how we can deal with it. Bio: Originally from Russia, Anna Evtushenko got a PhD in Information Science from Cornell in 2024 and now works as a Computer Science lecturer. She's also passionate about film and theatre and has produced 4 short films (available online) and Mine, an existential play.
