About Theatrical play ROCK-N-ROLL AT SUNSET in New York
Lyrical Comedy Rock-N-Roll At Sunset
Famous playwright Mikhail Kheifets wrote a funny and slightly sad play about the relationship between a Man and a Woman. As the author himself aptly noted — this is an eternal conflict and an eternal attraction. The characters of the play (performed by Elena Sikorskaya and Alexander Litovchenko) — no longer young people — met at a dance studio. They are very different, as they say, fire and ice, and at times it even seems as though they speak different languages. Yet at the same time they have something in common — they are both lonely. Despite the fact that each of their encounters turns into a mutual "taming of the shrew," the characters do not lose hope of dancing a rock-n-roll together, which for them is a symbol of escaping loneliness.
