From the creative team and performers of Zerkalo Theater who brought you “Ne Pokiday,” “Matrix of Love,” and “Red, Honest, in Love.”

A TRUE VAUDEVILLE EXPERIENCE!

The dashing hussar Nalimov falls passionately in love with the beautiful daughter of the moneylender Loskutkov. Determined to win her hand, he resorts to the most inventive tricks to outsmart her suspicious and money-obsessed father. Along the way, he is helped by his loyal and noble fellow hussars, who draw the greedy old man into a clever financial scheme…

“Hussar matchmaking” is a witty and lighthearted musical filled with intrigue, delightful music, songs, and dance. Inspired by a classic Russian vaudeville, and as they say—vaudeville is always full of mischief!

Expect gallant hussars, elegant ladies, humor, pranks, and unexpected twists. Love and friendship, everyday struggles, human weaknesses and vices—all intertwine in a whirlwind of theatrical fun.

Featuring an original libretto by Anastasia Grinenko (Belarus), witty lyrics by Yuliy Kim, and wonderful music by Gennady Gladkov, this production is brought to life by Zerkalo Musical Theater under the artistic direction of Olga Predit and choreographer Ilona Fomenko.

Performed by the youth ensemble of Zerkalo Theater.

Recommended for family viewing with children ages 8 and up.
