THE SOCIAL FIGHT NIGHT

THE REAL MILLION DOLLAR BABY RETURNS

SATURDAY, JANUARY 16, 2027

GULFSTREAM PARK & CASINO | HALLANDALE BEACH, FLORIDA

A World Champion’s Next Chapter. A Boxing Legend’s Rising Stars.

Nothing But Sportz, in association with Ron Johnson’s American Dream Presents, kicks off 2027 with an electrifying evening of professional boxing as THE SOCIAL FIGHT NIGHT comes to Gulfstream Park & Casino on Saturday, January 16.

Headlining the event is former world champion Maureen “The Real Million Dollar Baby” Shea, whose remarkable journey from Hollywood’s boxing world to championship glory has made her one of the sport’s most compelling personalities.

Joining Shea is a dynamic lineup featuring two highly regarded protégés of boxing legend Antonio Tarver, an Olympian, undefeated prospects, a former regional title challenger seeking redemption, South Florida fan favorites and an actor continuing to establish himself in professional boxing.

This isn’t simply another night of fights. It’s an opportunity to witness established champions chasing history and tomorrow’s stars building their legacies.

MAUREEN SHEA — THE REAL MILLION DOLLAR BABY

Hollywood made the story famous. Maureen Shea lived her own.

Before women’s boxing became a global attraction, Maureen Shea was already fighting her way into the history books.

Known as “The Real Million Dollar Baby,” Shea gained recognition through her connection to the Academy Award-winning film Million Dollar Baby, serving as a sparring partner for actress Hilary Swank as she prepared for her Oscar-winning performance.

But Shea’s real-life journey would become a remarkable boxing story of its own.

The Bronx-born fighter rose through the professional ranks, captured a world championship and established herself among a generation of women who helped pave the way for today’s biggest female boxing stars.

Now, with women’s boxing experiencing unprecedented attention, Shea returns to the spotlight with unfinished business.

She isn’t returning to celebrate yesterday. She’s coming back to chase tomorrow.

On January 16, The Real Million Dollar Baby headlines a night that celebrates championship ambition, perseverance and the next generation of boxing.

THE ANTONIO TARVER CONNECTION — TWO PROTÉGÉS, ONE MISSION

One of the biggest attractions of The Social Fight Night will be two rising fighters under the guidance of former light heavyweight world champion and Hall of Famer Antonio “Magic Man” Tarver.

Tarver built his legacy through championship performances and memorable victories against some of boxing’s biggest names.

Now, the former champion is helping shape the careers of a new generation.

On January 16, two of his protégés will take center stage.

KENZELL “GIVE EM HELL” WILLIAMS — THE NEXT BIG THING?

Remember the name: Kenzell Williams.

Under the guidance of Antonio Tarver, Kenzell “Give Em Hell” Williams is developing into one of the most intriguing young prospects on the Nothing But Sportz platform.

With explosive punching power, an aggressive fighting style and the confidence that comes from working alongside a boxing legend, Williams is becoming a fighter worth watching.

His nickname says plenty about the mentality he brings into the ring.

Give Em Hell.

But behind the excitement is a young fighter learning the finer details of professional boxing from a man who reached the very top of the sport.

For Williams, January 16 is another opportunity to show why his name belongs in conversations about boxing’s future stars.

The potential is there. The pedigree behind him is undeniable. Now it’s time to deliver.

KELVIN BROWN — A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS

Every great professional career starts somewhere.

For Kelvin Brown, that journey begins January 16 when he makes his highly anticipated professional debut under the guidance of Antonio Tarver.

Brown enters the professional ranks with the benefit of learning from one of boxing’s most accomplished champions, but once the bell rings, the spotlight belongs to him.

His debut gives fans an opportunity to witness the beginning of a career that Tarver and his team hope will develop into something special.

Two fighters. One legendary mentor. A new generation of boxing talent.

OLYMPIAN EDITH OGOKE BRINGS INTERNATIONAL PEDIGREE

Adding another compelling storyline to the evening is Olympian Edith Ogoke, whose experience competing on the international stage brings additional prestige to the event.

Representing Nigeria at the Olympic Games, Ogoke competed among elite amateur talent, gaining the experience and discipline that come with reaching one of the highest levels of international competition.

Now, she brings that Olympic pedigree to The Social Fight Night.

With Maureen Shea headlining and Ogoke joining the card, January 16 also shines a spotlight on the depth, experience and growing opportunities within women’s boxing.

D’VONTE SMITH — THE ROAD BACK

One defeat doesn’t define a fighter. How he responds might.

For D’Vonte Smith, January 16, 2027, represents an opportunity for redemption.

After suffering the only defeat of his professional career on November 7, 2025, while competing for a WBC regional championship, Smith returns to the ring determined to prove that one setback will not define his future.

In boxing, undefeated records attract attention, but some of the sport’s greatest stories are written by fighters who overcome adversity.

Smith now has the opportunity to write his own comeback story.

With championship-level experience already under his belt, he enters The Social Fight Night focused on regaining momentum, returning to winning form and working his way back into championship contention.

The setback is behind him. The comeback continues January 16.

SOUTH FLORIDA’S ANIEL VIAMONTES — THE HOMETOWN FAVORITE

Few things bring energy to a boxing event like a hometown fighter stepping into the ring in front of his own community.

Aniel Viamontes, one of South Florida’s fan favorites, returns to action with an opportunity to deliver another memorable performance.

With local support behind him and a chance to compete on a major South Florida stage, Viamontes brings the kind of hometown excitement that makes live boxing special.

For the fans who have followed his career, January 16 is another opportunity to rally behind one of their own.

Miami’s own. South Florida’s pride. Aniel Viamontes is ready to put on a show.

AKEEM CHEATHAM — MORE THAN A HOLLYWOOD STORY

Actor and professional boxer Akeem Cheatham returns to the ring looking to continue building momentum following an impressive knockout victory.

Cheatham represents a unique crossover between entertainment and professional boxing, but his ambitions inside the ring are serious.

While his acting career has introduced him to audiences beyond traditional sports, Cheatham is determined to establish his credibility as a professional fighter.

On January 16, he gets another opportunity to show that his boxing journey deserves attention of its own.

CHRIS “SLIM REAPER” BIGGS — A FUTURE WORLD CHAMPION IN THE MAKING

Undefeated New York southpaw Chris “Slim Reaper” Biggs is another exciting name to watch.

Standing 6-foot-2, Biggs combines length, athleticism and punching power with the confidence of a young fighter who believes he belongs on the biggest stages.
Coming off an impressive first-round knockout performance, Biggs continues to build his reputation as a dangerous prospect with legitimate world championship aspirations.

For fans who enjoy discovering future champions before the rest of the boxing world catches on, the Slim Reaper is one to watch.

GIEZWA PIERRE MONARCH JR. — THE NEXT WAVE

Giezwa Pierre Monarch Jr. adds another exciting young name to the January 16 lineup.

As he continues developing his professional career, Monarch Jr. will look to make a statement and take another step toward establishing himself among boxing’s rising prospects.

The Social Fight Night provides another platform for young fighters like Monarch Jr. to gain exposure, build their following and prove they belong on bigger stages.

A NEW YEAR. A NEW GENERATION. A NEW ERA OF BOXING.

The Social Fight Night is more than a collection of professional bouts.

It is part of Nothing But Sportz’s vision to bring together established champions, emerging prospects, Olympic athletes, entertainment personalities and fighters with compelling stories.

From Maureen Shea’s pursuit of another championship to Antonio Tarver developing tomorrow’s stars, from D’Vonte Smith’s redemption journey to South Florida’s own Aniel Viamontes, every fighter enters the ring with something to prove.

A former world champion with unfinished business.

A Hall of Fame legend developing two future hopefuls.

An Olympian bringing international experience.

A contender fighting his way back.

A hometown favorite defending his turf.

And a new generation chasing greatness.

On January 16, their stories meet inside one ring.
