About the venue: A long-standing Capitol Hill bar rated 3.8 from more than 1,100 reviews and in the lowest price band, open 4pm to 2am Monday to Thursday. It is the lowest-rated venue in the US set, and the reviews need reading before you commit: a recurring theme concerns door and security staff conduct, alongside complaints about pricing. Worth visiting in person first.
Getting there: The venue is on East Pike Street on Capitol Hill. Capitol Hill light rail station is an eight-minute walk, connecting directly to downtown, the University District and Sea-Tac airport — so this is a genuinely transit-served location. Parking on Capitol Hill is difficult and metered, so the train or a rideshare is much the easier arrival.
