About MOOMIN DAY. Family Party Family Event in New York
Attention, attention! We’re continuing our much-loved family book celebrations for children and parents!
On September 26, we’re celebrating Moomin Day, and we invite children ages 4–10 and their parents to join us for a fun-filled day!
From 12:00 to 4:00 PM, the program includes:
Moomin-themed arts and crafts
Mazes, coloring activities, surprises, gifts, discounts, fun, and much more
Classic Finnish pancakes with tea and lemonade
Participation in the activities listed above is free.
There will also be special ticketed events throughout the day:
12:00 PM — We’ll watch classic Moomin filmstrips (in Russian).
Participation: $8. A ticket is required for the child only.
12:40 PM — Make your own Moomin-themed bookmarks: “Let’s Peek into Moominmama’s Bag” with Tatyana Goranskaya (in Russian).
Participation: $10. A ticket is required for the child only.
1:40 PM — Moomin Math Buffet (in English).
Participation: $10. A ticket is required for the child only.
2:40 PM — The Magician’s Hat quest and quiz (in Russian).
Participation: $10. A ticket is required for the child only.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you! It will be interesting, fun, educational, and cozy — just as it always is at White Rabbit!
The event is held with the support of the Citizens Committee for New York City and in collaboration with the Janusz Korczak Institute for Educational Alternatives.

тематические мастер-классы
лабиринты, раскраски, сюрпризы, подарки, скидки, веселье и многое другое
классические финские блины с чаем и лимонадом
Участие в перечисленных событиях бесплатное.
Также будут особые события по расписанию
12.00 – посмотрим диафильмы про мумиков (на русском языке). Стоимость участия 8 $, билет необходимо приобрести только для ребенка.
12.30 – делаем закладки для книг “Заглянем в сумку муми-мамы” с Татьяной Горанской (на русском языке). Стоимость участия 10 $, билет необходимо приобрести только для ребенка.
13.30 – математический муми-буфет (на английском языке). Стоимость участия 10 $, билет необходимо приобрести только для ребенка.
14.30 – квест-квиз “Шляпа волшебника” (на русском языке). Стоимость участия 10 $, билет необходимо приобрести только для ребенка.
