About Irina Litmanovich. "The Unwritten Play". An Evening of Animated Films and Discussions
On November 9 at "Beliy Krolik" — a meeting with Irina Litmanovich, an artist, animation film director, and illustrator!
We invite you to an evening of author's animation, art, and conversations about creativity!
The main event of the evening is the screening of Irina Litmanovich's new animated film "An Unwritten Play. One Day in the Life of a Playwright," created based on the biography and works of Alexander Volodin.
One day in the life of a playwright. A story about how creativity is born from failures, doubts, awkward situations, and collisions with life. About a man who knew how to see the tragic in the comic, and the comic in the tragic.
Work on this fifteen-minute film took several years. Irina wrote the screenplay together with Viktor Shenderovich, and the animated film itself was created using hand-drawn animation technique.
Irina Litmanovich is an artist, director, and author of the animated films "Khelm Customs," "Home Romance," and "Handmade Clouds." She is a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Arts in Jerusalem and the Higher Directing Courses of the Shar school-studio. She worked at the Pilot studio on the project "Gora Samotsvetov," illustrated books, and took part in art exhibitions. Together with Viktor Shenderovich, she created the album book "The 22nd Trolleybus and Other Etudes." You can also get to know Irina in this small but truly amazing video, featuring Sergei Yursky, Viktor Shenderovich, Dina Rubina, and many others.
We will watch beautiful author animation, talk about cinema, literature, art, and how stories are born.
The participation fee is $30. Please note that we have a very small hall, and the number of seats is limited by its size. Buy your tickets in advance to make sure you get in.
