Celebrate 40 years of music, movement, and meaning with Vopli Vidopliassova (VV) — Ukraine’s legendary pioneers of punk, rock, and folk — as they return to North America for the first time in nearly a decade. Known for their explosive energy and cultural impact, VV has brought the Ukrainian spirit to global stages from WOMAD to Montreux Jazz Festival. Their timeless anthems like Vesna, Tantsi, and Krayina Mriy have become the soundtrack of Ukrainian resilience, freedom, and joy. This concert is part of a powerful 14-city North American tour, featuring select collaborations with acclaimed artists such as Eugene Hütz (Gogol Bordello), Lemon Bucket Orkestra, Hazmat Modine horns, Matt Darriau (The Klezmatics), Dumai Dunai, and more surprise guests along the way. Every show includes an exclusive Meet & Greet opportunity with the band — a chance to connect personally, ask questions, take photos, and stand together in solidarity.

Ukrainian Village Band (UVB):The Ukrainian Village Band is a Ukrainian roots and party (“Zabava”) band and production company that was founded in 2007. Each year UVB performs in a wide range of venues; organizes song circles and dance workshops; produces Ivana Kupala MN, a 3-day festival during the summer solstice; and partners to produce concerts by Ukrainian artists from Ukraine and the diaspora. Since the start of Russia’s attempt at a full scale invasion of Ukraine, UVB has focused effort on raising funds for humanitarian aid and sharing the joy and uniqueness of Ukrainian culture with as wide an audience as possible.
