USA Tour 2026
Alexei Paperny is a musician, poet, playwright, and director. He founded the group «Paperny TAM», recorded 8 albums, opened the clubs «Bely Tarakan», «Kitaisky Letchik Jao Da» and the club-theatre «Masterskaya» in Moscow, and wrote and staged dozens of plays. The show «Tverbul» received the Fringe First award at the Edinburgh Festival.
In 2022, Alexei left Russia together with his children.
In the summer of 2026, Alexei Paperny will embark on a major tour across the USA together with his son Alexander (bass guitar). The tour is held with the support of Roots and Chords Music and concludes with a performance at the JetLAG festival.
«In this tour A. Paperny and A. Paperny, that is, me, Alexei, and my son Alexander. I will play guitar and sing, and Alexander will play bass guitar. I will perform all or almost all of the songs I have written over the past few years: songs from the new album, which has not yet been released and which I am currently recording, as well as old ones of all kinds.
