Comedy With An Accent is back! 🌎🎤
After a hit run at the 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival, we’re bringing the show back by popular demand.
This is a stand-up comedy show in ENGLISH - but yes, some accents are definitely going to be on stage. 😄
Comedy with an Accent brings together comedians from different cultures, countries, and immigrant backgrounds for one night of sharp stand-up, personal stories, cultural observations, and the kind of humor that happens when different worlds collide.
Headlining the show is Elise Cole, a second-generation Persian-Jewish American raised in Minnesota. Her comedy explores marriage, parenting, family, and the wonderfully complicated reality of life in the 21st century.
Featuring Jethro Trogo, a Filipino comedian and first-generation immigrant known for fast, punchline-heavy comedy inspired by his experiences as a “second-time English speaker.” Jethro won the 2025 Funniest Person in St. Paul Contest and has opened for JR De Guzman, Steve Byrne, and Sam Tripoli.
Plus a full lineup of comedians with different backgrounds, different stories… and definitely different accents.
