With its style deeply rooted in the folk traditionsof Eastern European melodies, Fugu Dugu songsare sung in three languages - Romanian, Russian,Ukrainian and English. Fugu Dugu is often referredto as "female Gogol Bordello." Originally a duo, in2021 Olya Prohorova and Mark Adkison expandedthe band by adding bass and drums. Shortly after,they began production of a 9 track full-lengthalbum to be released in Spring of 2024.
