Forty years have gone since ARIA first stepped onto the stage to instantly conquer audiences with an incredible concentration of drive, melody, and charisma. Since their debut performance in 1985, when ARIA burst onto the domestic scene like a real hurricane and completely changed listeners’ idea of what “real rock music” is, the band has traveled an enormous creative path. They have become one of the most known and successful metal bands in the entire post-Soviet space and today rightfully bear the title of The Legend.

The band’s creative catalog includes 14 full-length albums, more than 10 live releases (some recorded with symphony orchestras), several compilations, as well as countless DVDs and music videos, large-scale tours and sold-out concerts both in Russia and abroad. Throughout different periods of their history, ARIA has consistently amazed fans with high-tech shows with the most spectacular of them — the grandiose concert “Гость из Царства Теней“ (‘Guest from the Shadow Kingdom’) — was seen live by nearly 200,000 spectators, while its digital version has already accumulated almost 3 million views online!
The years go by, times and generations change, but ARIA, just like 40 years ago, is still as energetic as ever. As always, the musicians are “going to the run”, “forging metal”, “turning up the heat”, “rocking this world”, and they continue to fill halls and arenas with devoted fans of all ages.
